The mountain destination on the Georgian Military Road. People come here not for a venue but for the view: a high plateau, a meadow, a hotel terrace over the valley.
An event here is often built where there is nothing at all: a meadow by a waterfall, a plateau where wild horses walk, a site without a single building. Light, sound, kitchen, furniture and toilets arrive by truck, are built for one day, and leave after the evening.
For a couple that means preparation starts earlier. The site has to be visited in advance to see where the generator will stand, where the kitchen fits and how long it takes to haul the equipment up. Guests never see that part: they see a laid table on a plateau.
Kazbegi is chosen when the view matters more than convenience: part of the day goes on the road, and part of the budget on making a kitchen and light appear in an empty meadow.
